Mount Pleasant, Mich. --
Four teams will be in search of two victories to capture the MAC Tournament title beginning tomorrow from Mount Pleasant, Mich. In the early matchup, top-seeded and regular season MAC champion Central Michigan will host fifth-seeded and three-time defending MAC Tournament champion Toledo at 11:00 a.m. At 2:00 p.m. second-seeded Eastern Michigan will face sixth-seeded Miami for a chance to play in the championship game Sunday.

The host Chippewas' (15-3-2) are the favorite after posting their first unbeaten regular season in conference history (9-0-2). Central Michigan's opening round 1-0 victory over Western Michigan put them in the semifinal round for the second consecutive season and stretched their unbeaten streak to 15 matches.

"Our season has culminated to this point," Head Coach Tom Anagnost said. "Now we have the most formidable challenge ahead of us with Toledo on Friday."

Toledo, which is no stranger to road upsets after pulling off a 3-1 quarterfinal win at fourth-seeded Ohio, attempts to advance to finals for a fourth straight season which would tie a conference record.

"It's a great accomplishment that the university, players, coaches, parents and fans can be very proud of," said Toledo Head Coach Brad Evans.

In the later game, Eastern Michigan seeks revenge for their only conference defeat of the season, a 1-0 home loss at the hands of Miami back on Oct. 9. The Eagles will try to extend their eight game unbeaten streak while Miami hopes to cap off an amazing turnaround season after finishing just 6-12-1 in 2008.

It will be the fourth all time tournament meeting between the two schools with the RedHawks holding a 2-1 advantage. Miami's offense, which leads the conference points (93), goals (33) and assists (27), will test the goalkeeper duo of Maggie Manville and Monique Budani who have combined to record a save percentage of .905 which ranks fourth in the nation among Division I teams.

The winners from each game will square off in the championship match which is scheduled for Sunday at 1:00 p.m. from the CMU Soccer Complex.
