Ricard won two individual events and was a part of two winning relays as EMU topped Miami 157-131 to tie the RedHawks for first place in the MAC with a 5-1 record. Ricard was part of the winning 400 medley relay team (3:52.36) and winning 200 free relay team (1:36.11) against Miami. On the individual side, she won the 100 free (1:51.85) by almost two seconds and came away with a victory in the 100 free (51.77) to help EMU to victory.

Cathryn Collins ? Akron
Junior - Hilton Head, S.C./Hilton Head
Cathryn Collins paced the Zips last week, picking up three top-three finishes, including two wins while also setting a pair of personal and season-best times on the season. The Junior started off with the 200-yard freestyle, tapping in at the 1:51.53 mark (personal-best and team-best time). Collins continued shattering personal records as the junior won the 500-yard freestyle in a time of 4:59.35 again setting a personal and team-best mark. She would cap an impressive day off by pacing the Zips with a third place finish in the 200-yard individual medley.
Emily Haifley ? Ball State
Junior ? Hilton Head, S.C.
One week after setting the school record in the 200 breaststroke with a clocking of 2:19.49, Haifley posted a time of 2:20.58 in the event versus the Bobcats to beat the closest competitor by over a second. Haifley also took first-place in the 100 breaststroke with an effort of 1:05.50. She also finished fourth in the 200 IM (2:14.47) and swam a leg of the second place 400 Medley Relay (3:55.76).
Jordan Deren ? Buffalo
Sophomore - Lackawanna, NY/Lackawanna
Jordan Deren won two events in the 139-97 victory over St. Bonaventure last Friday. Deren swept the distance events, finishing first in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:36.21), as well as the 500-yard freestyle (5:10.09) to help the Bulls improve their dual-meet record to 7-2.
Ashley Marion ? Ohio
Senior - London, Ont./Banting SS
Ashley set three personal bests Friday in Ohio's double-dual wins over Kenyon and Xavier. Swimming the second leg (breaststroke) on Ohio's 400 medley relay team, Marion swam a personal-best split of 1:06.56, with the team taking second vs. Xavier behind another Ohio relay and third vs. Kenyon. She also won the 50 free vs. Kenyon and Xavier in the double dual in a personal-best 23.88, the 10th-fastest time in Bobcat history. Marion showed her versatility by setting a third personal best in a second-place finish in the 200 breast, a new event for her, in 2:22.09, finishing .14 behind her teammate. Saturday in Ohio's win over Ball State, she led off both winning relays with a split of 57.52 in the 400 medley relay and a split of 24.03 in the 200 free relay. Marion also garnered a win in the 100 free in 51.65 against the Cardinals.
Meghan Reissig ? Toledo
Junior ? Rochester, N.Y./Victor HS
Reissig won the 100 and 200 backstroke in 57.03 and 2:03.41 respectively, and took the top spot in the 200 IM (2:07.17) in competition versus Akron.
