MAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week
Casey Cullen, Western Michigan - Junior, Beverly Hills, Mich. (Birmingham Seaholm High School)
Junior Casey Cullen led Western Michigan with a 3-1 record in the HEB Tournament of Champions in Corpus Christi, Texas. Cullen started the week by sweeping singles and doubles against Sun Belt power South Alabama. He won 8-4 at No. 2 doubles and then came back with a 6-3, 6-3 victory in singles. Cullen also defeated Vanja Grgec 6-2, 6-1 of DePaul in the Broncos victory in the third place match and second victory this season over the Blue Demons. Cullen improved to 9-6 in dual match singles and 11-4 in dual match doubles this season as he increased his career wins to 118.
