The Green and White's total of nine-over-par 861 (287-288-286) was the lowest 54-hole total since firing an 860 (291-283-286) for a sixth-place showing at the Boilermaker Invitational, April 19-20, 2008. Additionally, EMU's two-day, three-round mark shattered the Kepler Intercollegiate's previous three-round record of 863 set by Ohio State during the 1998 event. Eastern was tied atop the leader board with Penn State University after the first day of play, carding a seven-over-par 575 on Saturday. The Eagles' overall score was two strokes better than the runner-up Nittany Lions in the 11-team field.
