Jacob Ison, Ohio University - Senior, Batavia, Ohio (Batavia High School)

Senior Jacob Ison had a great week for the Bobcats, posting a 3-0 record that included two victories by pin. Ison helped guide Ohio to three dual meet victories during the week, as the team earned victories over Northern Colorado (33-7), Air Force (35-3) and the Colorado School of Mines (36-3). On Wednesday, Jacob defeated Northern Colorado's Brandon Kammerzell by a 9-2 decision. He followed that up with Friday victories over Tyler French from Air Force (former national qualifier) and Ryan Swanson from CSM. Ison pinned French in 6:09 and took down Swanson in a mere 67 seconds. With this successful week, Ison improved to 6-0 on the season and the Bobcats are also 6-0.

Dustin Kilgore, Kent State - Sophomore, Berea, Ohio (Berea High School)

Sophomore Dustin Kilgore recorded pins in each of his two matches last Sunday and helped Kent State to convincing dual meet victories over Michigan (28-9) and Newberry (32-9).  His first pin of the day came in the second period against Newberry's Bryant Blanton, who is ranked second in the nation in Division II.  Kilgore then stuck Michigan's Erich Smith in the first period.  Currently ranked No. 2 by Division 1 College Wrestling and W.I.N. Magazine, Kilgore is 12-0 this season with a team-leading seven pins.

Phillip Joseph, Eastern Michigan - Freshman, Lapeer, Mich. (Lapeer East High School)

Freshman Phillip Joseph improved his season record to 11-5 and 3-0 in dual matches with a perfect 2-0 performance last Saturday at the F.I.T.E. Duals. Joseph won an 8-2 contest against Indiana's Eric Cameron in a loss to the Hoosiers and recorded a fall of SIU's Robert Cooney at the 1:37 mark of the 184 lbs. bout. Joseph, a true freshman, has now won three consecutive regular season dual matches, including two against Big Ten opponents.

Bryan Deutsch, Northern Illinois - Junior, Columbia City, Ind. (Columbia City High School)

Junior Bryan Deutsch went 2-0 at the North Dakota State Duals last Sunday in Fargo, N.D., defeating No. 17 Keenan Davis of Oregon State, 14-8, and scoring an 18-7 major decision victory over Vince Salminen of North Dakota State. In the Deutsch-Davis match tied 4-4 heading into the final period, Deutsch outscored his opponent 10-4 with a reversal, near fall and two takedowns. Deutsch is now ranked No. 17 at 157 pounds by InterMat.com and is 10-1 on the season.

Dan Bishop, Buffalo - Senior, Whitehall, N.Y. (Whitehall High School)

Senior Dan Bishop returned to the Bulls' starting lineup after missing the start of the season due to an injury.  In his return to action, Bishop captured a pair of wins by fall in the Bull's sweep of host East Stroudsburg, 35-7 and Drexel, 27-15 at the East Stroudsburg Duals on Sunday afternoon. In his first bout, Bishop made quick work of the Warriors' David Luthy in the 125-pound weight class, pinning Luthy in 1:38. Bishop's pin of Luthy was the fastest win by fall of his career. With his two pins on Sunday, Bishop is now tied for 11th place for most career dual victories by fall (5).
