Fleet continued her strong play with her sixth consecutive top five showing, turning in a second place finish at the University of Arkansas-Little Rock Golf Classic here at the Diamante Country Club, March 3-31. Competing against some of the region's best golfers, the Dewitt, Mich. native carded a 76 in the final round to finish with a 222 (75-71-76), the 11th lowest 54-hole total in school history.

Cain tallied a 76-79=155 to tie for third at the 15-team Saluki Invitational hosted by Southern Illinois. Cain helped the Cardinals to a second place finish, four strokes behind tournament winner Drake.

Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic

Dreher finished just a shot off the lead to help the Golden Flashes tie for second at the rain-shortened Murphey Collegiate. Her two-under round of 70 included three birdies and an eagle as she was one of just two players to finish under par. The 18-team field included 11 squads in Golfweek's top 25, including five of the top eight.

UALR Women's Golf Classic

The Western Michigan golf team concluded play at the Women's Golf Classic on Tuesday with junior Elise Swartout leading the way with a 12th place finish. Swartout finished in the top 10 in scoring on the par-4 holes during the event. Swartout recorded her third top-15 finish of the season and second in as many events after finishing 10th at the 2009 Duramed Collegiate Invitational at Rio Verde, which took place at the beginning of March.
