MAC MEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Aaron Phillips - Ball State

Junior - Effingham, Ill./Saint Academy

Against Northwestern, Phillips defeated No. 19 Christian Tempke 4-6, 6-4, 1-0 (12-10) in No. 2 singles. Phillips also won in No. 2 doubles alongside teammate Jorge Rodriguez after defeating Alex Sanborn and Marc Dwyer, 8-5.

Yules Hadisubroto - Buffalo

Senior - Jakarta, Indonesia/SMUN 21

In UB’s 4-3 victory over Manhattan on Friday night, Hadisubroto scored the winning point with his three set win over Filip Szymik. Hadisubroto won the first set, 6-3, and had a chance to take the match in straight sets, but fell in a tiebreaker in the second set. He rallied to take the deciding set, scoring a 7-5 win after falling behind 3-0 early in the set.

Tim Bradshaw - Western Michigan

Senior - Bromsgrove, England/St. Augustine

Tim Bradshaw won at No. 2 singles 6-3, 7-6 over Damar Johnson of No. 29 Louisville on Saturday. Bradshaw, part of the No. 21 ranked doubles team in the country with Brady Crosby, also fell in a tight match against No. 24 Slavko Radman and Johnson 9-8 (4) at No. 1 doubles.
