Freshman Natasha Gobey continued the strong start to her collegiate career by posting a third-place finish at the UC Fall Invitational. Gobey's play helped the Rockets post a second-place showing in the event as UT finished 11 strokes behind tournament champion Florida International. Gobey fired a season-low one-under par 71 to finish with a three-round total of five-over par 221 (76-74-71). She now has registered four straight rounds of 76 or lower since shooting a pair of 83s in her first two collegiate rounds.

Junior Kristen Hill matched a program low by carding 70 strokes in the second round of the Cincinnati Fall Classic Tuesday. In all, her 12-over par 228 was the third-best, three-round tournament score of her three-year career and matched the sixth-best individually tally in program history. Behind steady improvement each round, the Zips (336-310-304) placed 10th out of 16 teams.

Falcon sophomore Susy Grunden completed another tournament as Bowling Green's top scorer last weekend at the Great Smokies Intercollegiate. Her first-day 72 helped the Falcons establish a new school record for an 18-hole team score as the team posted a 294 on Saturday. Grunden's tournament total of 152 gives her an average of 72.4 for the season through five rounds.
