Stevie Mitcheff, Kent State-Sophomore, Lorain, Ohio (Elyria High School)
Kent State sophomore Stevie Mitcheff won an individual title at the Cleveland State Open last Saturday, going 5-0 in his 25-man bracket. Mitcheff scored a 17-0 technical fall in his opening bout over Michigan State's Chris Lyon, before pinning Cleveland State's B.J. Miller in the second period. He earned a convincing 6-0 shutout over Edinboro's Korey Mines in the quarterfinals and topped Central Michigan's Joe Roth 6-2 in the semifinals. In his fifth bout of the day, Mitcheff knocked off Indiana's Zach Zimmer 8-6.

Buffalo sophomore Josh Peters led the team with wins in all three matches as the Bulls went 2-1 Sunday afternoon in three dual meets held at Bloomsburg. After a close loss to the host team, the Bulls defeated Drexel and East Stroudsburg. Peters continues his hot streak that has been going strong for almost a month. Peters started the day with a 6-2 win against Bloomsburg's Jacob Dabashinsky. He then followed it up with decisions against Drexel's Brandon Palik (3-2) and East Stroudsburg's Eddie Ebewo (7-1). Starting with his third-place finish at the Body Bar Invite Nov. 20, Peters has now won 11 of his past 13 matches, including six straight.
Erik Schuth, Ohio-Senior, Spencerport, N.Y. (Brockport High School)
Ohio senior Erik Schuth went 3-0 last week with wins over Lock Haven's Chris White (pin, 2:45), Army's Daniel Mills (15-0) and 14th-ranked Nate Schiedel of Binghamton (5-4). He helped power the Bobcats to wins over Millersville (47-3) and Lock Haven (33-6).
