At the Miami Invitational (Central Michigan, Cincinnati, Dayton), he finished second in the steeplechase with a time of 8:56.85, improving his regional qualifying efforts... his time was nearly 8 seconds better than the previous meet record and ranks 16th in the country this year.

Sophomore - Hermitage, Pa. / Hickory HS
Won the javelin with an NCAA Regional mark of 212-7 (64.80) at the Northeast Ohio Quad (Akron, Ashland, Buffalo, Kent State, Youngstown State).. The mark was a personal record by 15 feet and is the best in the MAC this season to date. It was additionally his first time to qualify for the NCAA Regional.

Won the 100m with an NCAA Regional mark of 10.55 at the Northeast Ohio Quad (Akron, Ashland, Buffalo, Kent State, Youngstown State). The mark was a personal record and is the best time in the MAC this season to date. He edged his teammate by two one-hundredths of a second (10.57) and Buffalo's Dan Harris (101.68), who had the MAC's best time prior to the meet.

Smith broke his own school record in the 200-meters in 21.29, cutting one-hundredth of a second off the mark at the Northeast Ohio Invitational (5 teams, UB, KSU, Akron, Ashland, Youngstown State). His events included 200m 21.29 1st; 4x100 relay 41.57, 2nd; 4x400 relay 3:16.60, 2nd.

Dawkins won both the 100m and 200m dashes at the Miami Invitational over the weekend with times of 10.98 and 21.94, respectively.

Recorded a season-best time of 48.28 seasons in the 400 meter dash and helped KSU's 4x400 relay team capture first place in 3:16.40.

Madonia won the men’s shot put with a toss of 52-10.75 (16.12m) at the Northeast Ohio Invitational as the Bulls finished third among five squads. It was his first shot put victory this season after the junior posted second-place finishes at the Seahawk Invitational and Colonial Relays. His events at last week’s competition were shot put, 52-10.75 (16.12m) 1st; discus, 154-7 (47.12m) 5th.

Tossed a regional qualifying 175-2 to take fourth place in the discus at the Sea Ray Relays over the weekend ... also posted a ninth-place finish in the hammer throw with a toss of 175-0.

Won the men's discus with a toss of 171'4" at the Northeast Ohio Quad (Akron, Ashland, Buffalo, Kent State, Youngstown State).

At the Miami Invitational (Central Michigan, Cincinnati, Dayton) in the pole vault he finished 3rd (4.75m/15-07.00). His mark is third-best in the MAC this year.
