Kirsty O'Connor led Ball State to the Iowa Hawkey Invitational Championship with her tie for sixth as an individual. O'Connor posted a 77-73-79=229 to tie for sixth in the 75-person field. Ball State tallied a 921 team score to defeat host Iowa by five strokes and finish ahead of Big Ten foes Iowa, Wisconsin and Penn State.

Megan Bader recorded her second-lowest career tournament score, carding a 156 at the Huskie Classic, hosted by Northern Illinois this past week. The sophomore opened with a 79 and finished with a 77 to finish in a tie for second-place, one shot off medalist honors.

Dreher jumped 10 spots in the final round by carding an even par 72 that featured three birdies and an eagle. The top 10 finish was the senior's fourth in her last five events dating back to last season. Dreher's showing helped the Flashes finish 9th out of 18 teams despite the fact Martina Gavier (the No. 2 player) is in Australia for the World Amateur Team Championships.

Kim Hunley was named the Huskie Classic Sportswoman of the Tournament after tying for second place at the Huskie Classic at Whisper Creek Golf Course this past week. Hunley, who was in 10th place after the first round of play, finished the tournament with a 156. She shot a team- and tournament-low 75 in the second round.
