MAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week
Knot Likitkumchorn, Toledo - Senior, Yala, Thailand
Toledo senior Knot Likitkumchorn led the Rockets to a 2-1 mark this past weekend by posting a 5-1 record between singles and doubles play. In the loss to Illinois State, the Rocket senior picked up one of the two Rocket singles victories, defeating Illinois State's Miljevic in two tiebreak sets, 7-6(7), 7-6(5). Likitkumchorn then had a perfect 4-0 day on Sunday to help the Rockets down a pair of Division II ITA Top-40 opponents, No. 38 Ferris State and No. 40 Wayne State. Against Ferris State, Likitkumchorn teamed with partner Bobby Brooks to earn a hard-fought 8-7(5) win at No. 3, while also winning in singles 6-2, 6-3 at No. 2. Against Wayne State, Likitkumchorn and Brooks won again, this time an 8-2 decision at No. 2, while Likitkumchorn picked up a tiebreak win at No. 1 as well, 6-7(6), 6-1, 10-3.

Buffalo junior Alex Kalinin won both his singles and doubles matches in Buffalo's 6-1 win over Youngstown State last Sunday. In the doubles match, Kalinin paired with Marcelo Mazzetto for the first time this season to defeat Rodrigo Campos and Rob Emig, 8-4, after trailing 4-2, in the number three match. In singles, Kalinin defeated Campos in the number five match. For the season, Kalinin is 8-5 in singles and remains undefeated in doubles at 8-0.
Brad Noel, Western Michigan - Senior, Westlake, Ohio (Westlake High School)
Western Michigan senior Brad Noel won two of four matches against ranked opponents this past weekend. Against No. 67 Northwestern, Noel tallied wins at No. 6 singles and No. 6 doubles. He defeated Raleigh Smith in singles action, 6-4, 6-2, and teamed up with Ross VanderPloeg for a dominating 8-1 win in doubles. Noel put up a good fight against No. 64 DePaul, forcing three sets at No. 5 singles, 6-1, 5-7, 7-6 (2) and falling at No. 3 doubles, 9-8 (7).
