Ross finished as the lowest scoring Eagles in a tie for 12th place with an season-best 216 (73-73-70). The even-par place finish was his best of the 2007-08 campaign and his third top 20 finish of the year. The Eastern Michigan University men’s golf team carded its lowest round of the weekend to move up seven spot to finish in sixth place Sunday, March 2, here at the highly competitive Ron Smith/USF Invitational. The Eagles, who were in 13th place after 36-holes, fired a 289 in the final round of the three-day tournament for a 882 (301-292-289) at the par 72, 7,084 yard Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club.
