Bastel paced the RedHawks for the fourth time in four fall tournaments this year, tying for 25th place at seven-over par 223 at the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate, shooting 71-81-71=223. Bastel's 71 in the final round helped Miami to its best round of the tournament and the fourth-best third-round score of the tournament.
In the final tournament of the fall season, Bastel helped the RedHawks to an 11th place finish over the weekend. Miami kicks off the spring season at the UTSA Invitational February 19-20.
