Stephany Fleet, Eastern Michigan, Jr., Dewitt. Mich.-Dewitt

Fleet made it a clean sweep at the EKU Spring Invitational Saturday afternoon, April 5, when she captured low medalist honors with a two-over 146 (73-73) for the two-round event. Fleet’s victory was the third of her career and her second this season.

Kirsty O'Connor, Ball State, So., Burnley, Lancashire, U.K./Habergham

O'Connor tied for 11th out of 84 golfers at the prestigious Indiana Invitational, which featured six of the nation's top-50 teams. The tournament was played at Crooked Stick Golf Club, which is the home of the 2009 U.S. Senior Open, the 2005 Solheim and many other national events. O'Connor shot a 74-74-74=222.


Jessica McCann, Bowling Green, Sr., Mason, Ohio/Mason

McCann opened the Illini Spring Classic with an 88 in the wind and rain, but bounced back in a big way, firing back-to-back 79s on the final day of competition, helping the Falcons improve by over 30 strokes between day one and day two.


Boram Lee, Toledo, Jr., Seoul, South Korea/Epson Grammar School

Helped the Rockets equal their best finish of the season by tying for 10th place to match her best performance of the year.


Laura Bavaird, Western Michigan, Sr., Grosse Ile, Mich./Grosse Ile

Bavaird registered her fourth top-five finish of her senior season and fifth top-10 finish of the year. Bavaird's even-par 72, which matches her season-low round, was the lowest score recorded in the second round and matched three others for the low round of the tournament. She led the field with five birdies after 36 holes played and finished just two strokes out of earning medalist for the third time this season.
