Brittany Kelly finished third with a 72-70-73=215. Kelly, whose 70 marked her season low, finished behind Therese Koelbaek of UNLV (210) and Kayla Mortellaro of Idaho (213). Kelly was one of only three golfers in the 95-player field to finish the tournament under par.

Susy Grunden finished in a tie for 37th at the Rio Verde Intercollegiate with a 54-hole score of 235 (74-80-81). Her 74 in round one was one shot shy of the school record by a freshman.

Eastern Michigan University junior Robyn Scott (Auckland, New Zealand-Westlake Girls-Texas Tech Univ.) continued her strong play with her first career top-10 showing, turning in a second place showing at the Rio Verde Invitational here at the par 71, 6,260-yard Quail Run Golf Course, March 5-7. Competing against some of the region's best golfers, the Auckland, New Zealand native carded a 73 in the final round to finish with a 218.

Recorded 10th top-10 finish of career, tying for ninth at the Rio Verde Invitational this week. Carded back to back rounds of 3-over par 74 in the first two rounds. Swartout tied for fourth in the tournament in birdies with eight over three rounds. She had four birdies in the first round alone.
