Gavier earned her third top-20 finish this season, by virtue of her eight-over, 224 Monday and Tuesday at the Central District Invitational. Her performance helped the Flashes finish ninth in a 15-team field that included 13 of the nation's top 50 teams.

Kiawah Island Classic
Junior co-captain Michelle Hui led the Rockets with a 20-over par 236 (83-76-77) at the Kiawah Island Classic to finish in a 78th-place tie out of 172 golfers.
Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Classic
Hill carded 229 strokes (76-81-72) to tie for 41st place individually among the 172-player field as the Zips rallied to win first flight at the Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Classic. Hill's 72 in the third and final round was nine strokes better than her second-round score and her lowest single-round score since carding 71 at the Waynesville Country Club in 2008. As a team, UA's three-round score (322-312-299) of 933 strokes was the second lowest in the two-year history of the program.
