MAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week
Aleksandar Elezovic, Toledo- Senior, Belgrade, Serbia
Toledo senior Aleksandar Elezovic helped celebrate his Senior Day by leading the Rockets to a nine-match, 7-0 sweep of Northern Illinois on Saturday. He and fellow senior Sven Burus claimed the top draw in doubles, 8-2, while Elezovic also earned a 6-3, 7-5 decision in first singles. The match win stretched the school record for team wins in a season (23) and gave the four Rocket seniors 70 wins as a class, the highest class win total over a four-year span in program history. Elezovic's pair of wins improved his career slate to 125-52 (.706) as the Rockets went on to their 12th-consecutive victory.

Western Michigan Casey Cullen became the program's all-time leader in doubles wins this past weekend, and in the process helped the Broncos maintain their undefeated conference season with a 7-0 win over Ball State. Cullen teamed with partner Pablo Olivarez to win the No. 2 doubles match 8-3 and secure the doubles point for the Broncos. That win was the 109th doubles win of Cullen's career, breaking R.J. Dunkle's program record of 108 doubles wins set in 1985. In addition, Cullen won the No. 5 singles match 6-4, 3-6, (10-7) to help the Broncos preserve the shutout over the Cardinals. On the season, the Broncos are 13-10 overall, 4-0 in the MAC, and 8-4 in regional play. Cullen and Olivarez have won seven of their past eight doubles matches as a team, and Cullen has won six of his past seven singles matches.
