Additional Nominees:

Zara Harutyunyan, Akron - Sophomore, Yerevan, Armenia

Sophomore Zara Harutyunyan, ranked 75th nationally, tallied the 100th combined win of her career over the weekend, leading Akron (3-0) to a 5-2 victory at Penn State on Friday and a 6-1 home defeat of Xavier on Sunday. Her milestone win came by a count of 6-0, 6-4 at No. 1 singles over Xavier's Katie Pleiman. As well as etching her place in the Akron tennis history book, the victory also clinched the match point for the Zips over the Musketeers. The sophomore finished the weekend, with a 4-0 overall record (2-0 doubles, 2-0 singles).

Sara McLaughlin, Northern Illinois - Sophomore, Moline, Ill. (Moline High School)

Sophomore Sara McLaughlin posted a straight-set (7-6, 6-3) win at the No. 6 singles position during Northern Illinois' 6-1 loss versus Illinois-Chicago, who defeated Wisconsin earlier this season.

Senior Martina Wodzinski went a perfect 4-0 in singles and doubles action last weekend. Playing at first singles, Wodzinski's 6-3, 6-4 victory over Xavier's Katie Pleiman (10-4 on the season) clinched Toledo's first win over Xavier in three years. Wodzinski also teamed with classmate Maha Guirguis to record an 8-7 win at first doubles against Xavier.
