Mid-American Conference Adds Korinth Patterson  As Director of Compliance & Championships

For Immediate Release-November 4, 2009

Cleveland, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference (MAC) announced today the addition of Korinth Patterson as Director of Compliance & Championships.  In the newly created position, Patterson will assist the conference with NCAA student-athlete compliance issues for all member institutions and coordinate special events related to the 23 championship events annually facilitated by the conference office.

Prior to joining the MAC, Patterson spent the last four years at Indiana University as Director of Life Skills and Special Events.  In that role, she educated student-athletes on leadership programs and workshops and implemented life skills programs for student-athletes to encompass academic and athletic excellence, personal and career development and community service. 

Patterson previously worked for the conference as a media relations assistant from July, 2004 through August, 2005.  Patterson earned a degree in general studies from Ball State University and also ran track for the Cardinals.  Patterson graduated with an MBA in sports administration from St. Thomas University in Miami, Fla.
