MAC Announces Men's Tennis Academic All-MAC Team
Cleveland -- The seven-member Academic All-MAC Men's tennis team as voted by league Faculty Athletic Representatives was announced today.
Leading the way with four selections was tournament champion Western Michigan as seniors Jeff French and Jose Orozco, junior Brady Crosby and sophomore Alex Berchmeier were honored. Crosby was the lone repeat selection from last year.
Rounding out the squad are Tony Epkey of regular season champion Ball State, Mike Rockman of Buffalo and Brian Rager of Toledo.
Due to ties in the voting the squad was expanded by one extra spot from six to seven. Nominees must have a minimum 3.20 cumulative grade point average to be eligible for the team.
