MAC Men's Tennis Tournament Live Scoring
MUNCIE, Ind. - Ball State University will host the 2010 Mid-American Conference Men's Tennis Championship Thursday through Saturday at the Cardinal Creek Tennis Center. The six-team championship, includes Ball State, Buffalo, Chicago State, Northern Illinois, Toledo and Western Michigan.
Buffalo won its first conference regular season title and will be the first seed (12-5, 5-0 MAC). Host Ball State (16-9, 4-1 MAC) enters the tournament as the No. 2 seed having won 19 MAC Tournament Championships. Western Michigan (18-10, 3-2 MAC) is the third seed, while Toledo (12-14, 2-3 MAC) is the fourth seed. Northern Illinois (10-12, 1-4 MAC) is seeded fifth and Chicago State (0-13, 0-5 MAC) is seeded sixth.
There will be two matches played Thursday and Friday both beginning at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. With the championship match starting at 1 p.m. Saturday. Admission to the MAC Tournament is free.
If inclement weather occurs the tournament will be moved indoors to the Muncie YMCA Tennis Center located at 3500 Chadam Lane Muncie, IN 47304.
