(215) 70-72-73 -- 3rd

In addition to his 54-hole total being the best of his career, Boyer's opening-round two-under 70 was a season best.
Brad Larente, Eastern Michigan, Junior
Cambridge, Ontario (Hespeler Secondary)
222 (72-73-77) -- T-18th
Junior Brad Larente (Cambridge, Ontario-Hespeler Secondary) led the Eagles with a score of six-over 222 (72-73-77) in a tie for 18th place. Playing in nasty conditions and through several weather delays, the Eastern Michigan University men's golf team concluded play Sunday, April 25, with a cumulative score of 905 at the Boilermaker Invitational. The Eagles recorded a third round score of 303 after shooting back-to-back rounds of 301. EMU finished in 11th place in the field of 12 at the par-72, 7,210-yard Kampen Course on the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex. Scores were higher in the third round across the board as a wet course and another rain delay made for a challenging afternoon.
Drew Preston, Bowling Green, Freshman
224 (72-77-75) T-11th
Drew Preston finished tied for 11th at the Rutherford Intercollegiate with a 54-hole score of 224. The sophomore opened with an even-par 72 and followed that up with a 77-75. His score of 224 was his lowest 54-hole score in six tournaments.
