WOMEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Yana Parfenyuk - Eastern Michigan
Senior - Ominsk, Russia/School #64
Parfenyuk defeated Alizee Paradis (Cincinnati) 6-4, 6-4 Friday, Feb. 2 and defeated Megan Gray (Dayton) 6-3, 6-0, Saturday, Feb. 3, both at No. 3 singles. Has a 4-2 singles record this season. She also won at No. 3 doubles vs. both opponents to improve to 4-0 on the week. The Eagles defeated Dayton 6-1 and UC 5-2.

Nadia Zoubareva - Toledo
Freshman - Lake Buff, Ill./ Lake Forest
Zoubareva has not lost a match yet as a freshman, going to 2-0 in singles and 2-0 in doubles last week to improve to 5-0 singles and 5-0 doubles on the season. She was one of the only two singles victories against Michigan State this past weekend where she won 6-1, 6-3 at No. 3. Won the only doubles match against MSU at No. 2, 8-2. Started the season at No. 5 then she moved to No. 4 and is now competing at No. 3.
Carrie Jeanmaire - Western Michigan
Senior - Belvidere, Ill./Belvidere HS
Carrie Jeanmaire went 2-0 for the Broncos to lead them to the 7-0 sweep over Marquette of the Big East on Friday night. Jeanmaire won 6-2, 7-5 at No. 1 singles and then teamed with freshman Emily Dudzik to win 8-6 at No. 3 doubles.
