Cleveland- The Mid-American Conference announced its men's swimmer of the week today. The award went to Eastern Michigan's Sean Joyce. Joyce won the 500 and 1650 freestyle events, as the Eagles defeated Miami and Buffalo.

Senior - Webster, NY
Joyce won both the 500 and 1650 freestyle events in EMU's pair of MAC
wins over Miami (178-64) and Buffalo (188-55) to close out the
conference season a perfect 5-0. Joyce posted times of 15:37.38 in the
1650 and 4:39.09 in the 500 free.
OTHER NOMINATIONS
Zach Hall (Ball State) won the 50 free with a clocking of 21.62 and was
a member of the winning 200 medley relay team (1:36.13).
Kelly Ball (Miami) won two events against Buffalo and Eastern Michigan
to go undefeated in every individual race during the entire MAC season.
Ball had already won the 200-yard freestyle in 1:42.23 before he
out-touched Eastern Michigan's Justin Breitigam by two hundredths of a
second in the 200-yard butterfly on Saturday afternoon for a 10-0
personal record in the MAC.
Robert Krichbaum (Ohio) captured the eighth title of his junior season
on Saturday with 284.10 points on the three meter board. He would follow
that with a second-place finish in the one meter (257.20). On the
season, he has won four times on both the high and low boards. The
Bobcat men finished 0-2 for the weekend with losses to Ball State and
Toledo in the team's regular season finale at the Aquatic Center.
Lorant Divald (Toledo) was first in the 200 IM with a time of 1:55.25
and 100 freestyle with a time of 47.09 against Ohio and Ball State.
