Buffalo Defeats Duquesne
BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - Davis Lawrence scored 15 points, including 13 of the team's final 18, as Buffalo won its first game of this season, 64-59, over Duquesne
The score was tied at 46 when Lawrence, a walk-on, banked a three-pointer and hit a jumper as the Bulls went ahead 51-46.
Duquesne (3-5) later trailed 55-52 when Robert Brown's three-point play on a pass from Louis Campbell gave Buffalo (1-3) a 58-52 lead.
The Dukes began the second half hitting eight of their first 12 shots as Duquesne closed the score to 41-37.
Jason Robinson scored 13 points and was three-of-four from the three-point line in the first half as he led the Bulls to a 32-21 halftime advantage.
Courtney Wallace had 21 points on nine of 16 shooting and Wayne Smith had 13 points and 12 rebounds for Duquesne.
