Miami Falls To Indiana State, 54-46

BAYAMON, Puerto Rico (AP)(Nov. 25) - Matt Renn had 17 points and 13 rebounds as Indiana State beat Miami University, 54-46, for fifth place in the Puerto Rico Shootout on Saturday (Nov. 25).

Indiana State led 23-20 at halftime then opened a 48-35 lead in the second half on a tip-in by Brian Giesen. The closest Miami got was 52-46 on a three-pointer by Doug Davis with 23 seconds remaining.

Djibril Kante scored 10 points for Indiana State and Kelyn Block had nine. For Miami, Davis finished with 11 points and Eugene Seals had 10.

Indiana State is now 2-1, and Miami is now 1-3 on the season.
