EMU's Sarah Conger Earns MAC Women's Swimmer of Week Honors

Eastern Michigan - Sarah Conger - Conger placed first in the 50 Free (24.35) and in the 100 Free (52.77). Conger helped lead EMU past Ohio for the first victory by any MAC school over the Bobcats in four years. It is Ohio's only third loss in the last 42 duals.

Other Notable Performances

Akron - Susan Over - Over finished first in the 1-meter board with a score of 249.35 and in third placed on the 3-meter board with a score of 236.50.

Miami - Emily Nayes - Nayes placed first in three individual events; 100 Breast (1:05.53), 200 Breast (2:21.49), 200 IM (2:12.27) and was a member of the first-place 200 Med Relay team (1:50.72).

Buffalo - Dawn Hickey - Hickey finished first in the 1,650 Free (17:38.69) and in the 500 Free (5:10.45).

Ball State - Jessica Landrum - Landrum placed first in the 100 Breast (1:06.16), 200 Breast (2:24.18), 200 IM (2:10.33) and was a member of the winning 200 Med Relay team (1:50.65).

Bowling Green - Kim Maden - Maden recorded one first place finish in the 50 Free (24.50), two second-place finishes 100 Free (53.77) and the 200 Back (2:12.71), and a third-place finish in the 200 Fly (2:11.07).

Northern Illinois - Ann Schmitt - Schmitt placed second in the 1,650 Free (17:29.96) and in the 500 Free (5:12.63) along with placing fourth in the 200 Free (1:57.23).

Toledo - Sheona Lottering - Lottering placed first in the 200 Free (1:53.66) and in the 500 Free (5:01.74).
