Marshall Predicted To Repeat As MAC Champs

Updated 8/15/2000
Marshall University would become the first school in league history to win four consecutive league championships, according to the preseason media poll (403 votes, including 45 first-place ballots). The Thundering Herd returns only 11 starters, but five of those were first team all-MAC performers in 1999. Marshall has a national best 18-game winning streak and is coming off a 13-0 record and a No. 10 national ranking. Listen to coach Bob Pruett and view returning player highlights by clicking below.
