Eight Women's Soccer Players Honored With Post-Season Awards

(Dec. 17) - The Mid-American Conference had eight women's soccer players named to the Soccer Buzz All-Region teams in both the Great Lakes Region and in the Northeast Region. In addition to being named second-team all-region, Eastern Michigan's Sarah Willis, the conference Player of the Year, was also named third-team NSCAA/adidas Division I All-American last week.

The MAC was represented on the Great Lakes Region Second Team by Willis and Miami's Danielle Berkemeier. Central Michigan's Kjersten Kuhlman and Eastern Michigan's Amanda Kulikowski were named to the third team. Berkemeier was also named to the Great Lakes All-Freshman team along with Miami teammate Andrea Cunningham. Miami's head coach Bobby Kramig was the runner-up to being named Coach of theYear in the region.

Buffalo was represented on the second team, third team and All-Freshman team in the Northeast Region. Junior Paula Listrani was named to the second-team, junior Jamie Adams was named to the third-team and Elizabeth Pfeffer was named to the All-Freshman team.
