MAC Pepsi Offensive Player of the Week
Tiffany Bell, Buffalo (Jr., C)
Alexandria, Va. (Hayfield)

The conference's leading scorer, Bell averaged 18.3 points, 9.3 rebounds
and 2.6 assists per game last week for Buffalo, helping the Bulls to
three straight wins.  Bell combined for 37 points, 12 rebounds and six
assists in road wins against Navy and Albany.  The junior finished the
week with 18 points, 16 rebounds, two assists, three blocks and two
steals in a home win versus Idaho State.

MAC Pepsi Defensive Player of the Week Cheryl Bowles, Akron (Jr., C) Kansas City, Mo. (Park Hill HS) Bowles had 13 rebounds, nine of them of the defensive end, and had two blocked shots in Akron's win at home versus Cleveland State, which was the team's first win of the season. The junior center also added 19 points in 28 minutes of action.
