Kurtis Leer, Ball State
Leer started out his competition at the Doug Coers Invitational as a member of the first-place 200-yard freestyle relay (1:27.17) squad. Leer also posted first-place tallies in the 100 freestyle (47.84 seconds), 200 freestyle (1:46.49) and 400 medley relay in 3:36.03. Ball State finished second as a team in a field that included five squads.
