Marshall Wins 2002 Women's Tennis Tournament Championship

Second-seeded Marshall defeated Eastern Michigan to win the 2002 Mid-American Conference Tournament Championship Sunday at the Muncie YMCA Indoor Tennis Center. Marshall picked up the doubles point and then won three singles matches to take the 4-0 victory. Eastern Michigan ends its season with an overall record of 19-4 while Marshall improves to 21-7.
