Who Advances to the Women's Tennis Semifinals

Eastern Michigan came one step closer to defending its 2001 title with a 4-0 victory over Toledo this morning in the quarterfinals of the 2002 Mid-American Conference Women's Tennis Tournament. In the other morning match, fourth-seeded Northern Illinois scored a 4-2 victory over Miami.

In the afternoon round, second-seeded Marshall defeated seventh-seeded Bowling Green, while third-seeded Western Michigan posted a 4-0 win over Ball State.
