1 singles and than teamed up with Christian Brattstrom to beat Francisco
Valencia/Matt Cole 8-1 in the No. 3 doubles match. Against #54 Louisville
defeated Tvrtko Kujundzic in the No. 1 singles, 7-6 , 6-1.
Other Nominees
Ball State's Edgnedo Rivera was 2-0 in singles, and 1-1 in doubles
play in a pair of Ball State wins last week. Rivera defeated Northern
Illinois' Juan Pablo Barriga 7-6, 6-2 in No.2 singles and combined with
Jason Pressel for a 8-1 win at No. 1 doubles against NIU. Rivera then
defeated Peter Bong of Southern Illinois at No. 3 singles 4-6, 7-6, 7-6.
Bowling Green's Mike Kossoff went 2-0 in singles and 1-0 in doubles to
help the Falcons to wins over Buffalo, and St. Bonaventure. Defeated
Buffalo's Justin Brtko 6-3, 6-2 at No. 3 singles. Also defeated Mark
Gorski of St. Bonaventure in a three-set contest at No. 4 singles, and
then paired with Vitek Wild for an 8-4 win at No. 1 doubles versus St. Bonaventure.
Buffalo's Budi Susanto went 2-0 last week in No. 1 singles against Temple and St. Bonaventure.
