Mid-American Conference Pepsi Co-Offensive Players of the Week:

Ball State freshman guard Laurie Kitts and Bowling Green sophomore
forward/guard Francine Miller are this week's MAC Pepsi Co-Offensive
Players of the Week. In two games last week, Kitts averaged 22.5 points
per game and connected on 43 percent of her shots from the floor
(13-of-30). In addition, Kitts hit 57 percent of her three-point field
goals (13-of-23) and matched her career high of 28 points in an overtime
win against Central Michigan, including eight treys versus the
Chippewas.
Francine Miller, Bowling Green (So., F/G)
Kalida, Ohio (Kalida HS)
Miller averaged 19.5 points and 4.5 rebounds in two Falcon road wins,
helping Bowling Green secure a home game in the first round of the MAC
Tournament. Miller had 17 points, three rebounds and three assists in
an 84-71 win at Akron, then had 22 points, including 16 in the second
half and the game-winning free throws with 4.9 seconds remaining, to
give BG a come-from-behind win over Buffalo. For the week, she
connected on 43 percent of her shots from the floor (13-of-30) and was
successful on all 12 of her attempts from the free throw line.

Erica Glover, Akron -- Averaged 16 points, 9.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists
per contest.
Tiffany Bell, Buffalo -- Had a season-high 33 points in a one-point loss
to Bowling Green.
Jodi Culbertson, Central Michigan -- Averaged 24.5 points, 5.5 rebounds
and 3.5 assists per game.
Amy Crickard, Eastern Michigan -- Had a career-high 26 points in a win
over Western Michigan.
Heather Cusick, Miami -- Averaged 18 points, 5.0 assists and 3.5
rebounds per contest in two RedHawk wins.
Charbea Haller, Northern Illinois -- Hit six three-pointers and 22
points in an overtime win over Ball State.
Lori Moorman, Ohio -- Averaged 14.5 points and 6.5 rebounds as the
Bobcats split two games.
Jennifer Markwood, Toledo -- Had 19 points and 10 rebounds in a win over
Northern Illinois.
Mid-American Conference Pepsi Defensive Player of the Week
Stephanie Smiley, Eastern Michigan (So., G)
Holt, Mich. (Holt HS)
Eastern Michigan's Stephanie Smiley is this week's MAC's Pepsi Defensive
Player of the Week. In wins over Toledo and West Division champ Western
Michigan, Smiley averaged 10.5 rebounds, 15 points, 1.0 steal and 1.0
blocked shot per game. Smiley had 21 points and eight boards (seven
defensive) in EMU's first win over the Rockets in 13 years, while also
adding a steal and a blocked shot. Against Western Michigan, Smiley
pulled down 13 boards, all of them on the defensive end, to go with nine
points, a blocked shot and a steal.

Christy Jones, Ball State -- Averaged 18.5 points and 14 rebounds in a
pair of Cardinal games.
Sherry Kahle, Bowling Green -- Grabbed a total of 14 rebounds in two
Falcon wins, including 10 of them on the defensive end.
Kim Kilpela, Buffalo -- Averaged 8.0 points, 8.5 rebounds and one block
a contest.
Shelly Woods, Central Michigan -- Had 24 points, 14 rebounds and three
blocks in an overtime loss to Ball State. Averaged 17 points, 10
rebounds and 3.5 blocks per game.
Heather Cusick, Miami -- Averaged 18 points, 5.0 steals, 5.0 assists and
3.5 rebounds in a pair of Miami wins.
Adriane Bryant, Toledo -- Helped Toledo force 52 turnovers in final two
games. Averaged seven points, three steals and 1.3 rebounds per game.
