Ball State Men Televised Wednesday and Saturday; Kent and Toledo Men Televised on Saturday MAC Tournament Coverage Begins Next Week
The Mid-American Conference's leading teams in the East and West Divisions take center stage the final week of the regular season, as Ball State faces Central
Michigan and Western Michigan, Kent faces Ohio, and Toledo faces Central Michigan in men's TV action. Bowling Green faces Buffalo in women's action with a
MAC Tournament first round home game on the line.
Action begins Thursday night as Ball State (17-8, 9-7) travels to Central Michigan (5-20, 2-14) at 7:00 p.m. on the Ball State Sports Network. Ball State and
Toledo are atop the MAC West, and both play Central Michigan this week as the Chippewas look to spoil MAC West title hopes for both teams.
Friday night women's action on Fox Sports Net in Ohio features East Division foes Bowling Green (8-16, 6-8) at Buffalo (17-8, 7-7) with a first round home game
on the line for both teams. Bill Needle and Amy Prichard call the action from Alumni Arena in Buffalo. Game time is 8:00 p.m. ET.
ESPN+ will televise two games Saturday at noon: Kent (21-5, 13-4) at Ohio (16-12, 9-7) and Toledo (15-12, 9-7) at Central Michigan. Kent has secured a first
round bye to Cleveland and the MAC quarterfinal round already, while Ohio is guaranteed a first round home game. Michael Reghi and Mike D'Antoni call the
action, which airs on WUAB in Cleveland and WSAZ in Huntington, W.Va. The Toledo-Central Michigan game will air on WADL in Detroit, WUPW in Toledo
and on CMU Public Television. Dave Weekley and Jordy Hultberg call the action, which could determine if Toledo wins the West and its subsequent bye to the
Cleveland quarterfinals, depending on the Ball State outcomes.
Ball State wraps up its season at 2:00 p.m. with a game against Western Michigan (10-16, 6-11) on the Ball State Sports Network. The MAC West title could be
determined by the outcome of this game, which airs on the Ball State Sports Network. The network, which originates out of WIPB-TV 49/Muncie, a public
broadcasting station at BSU, also includes WAV-Indianapolis and WYIN-Merrillville.
