Toledo's Storck Selected As Women's Golfer Of The Week

The Mid-American Conference announced it's Women's Golfer of the Week today. The award went to Toledo sophomore Natalie Storck (Auckland, New Zealand/Westlake/Massey Univ.). Storck nearly captured the first individual title of her career to help Toledo tie for fifth place at the 22nd annual Indiana Invitational. Storck (74-73 --147) finished in second place out of 114 golfers with her five-over par score and was just one stroke behind Notre Dame's Noriko Nakazaki (71-75--146).

Churchill posted her highest career finish with a third place showing at the Indiana Invitational over the weekend. She entered the final round on Sunday in a tie for fifth place, but improved her total from the first round by three strokes for a 2-over 74 to end up in third with a (77-74 -- 151), tying for the highest individual finish in the three-year history of the Herd program. Churchill's 74 in the final round aided the Marshall charge to a third place finish in the team standings.

Julie Tomlinson, Ohio
Jr., Noblesville, Indiana (Noblesville)
Tomlinson led the Bobcats by tying for 11th out of 114 competitors at the Indiana Invitational over the weekend. The junior from Noblesville, Ind., fired rounds of 82 and 75 for a 36-hole score of 157.
