Toledo Melissa Goodall (basketball)
Melissa Goodall (Sr., 3.280, exercise science) tallied a career-high 28 points and a squad-best 10 caroms in an 85-75 win over Central Michigan last Wednesday to help the Rockets capture the 2010-11 Mid-American Conference regular-season title. Goodall converted 13-of-19 shots to help UT shoot 53 percent for the game.
Overall in 2010-11, Goodall is tallying 13.4 points, a team-high 7.0 rebounds, 1.2 blocks and 0.9 steals in a team-high 30.8 minutes per contest. She is currently sixth in the MAC in blocked shots, ninth in overall rebounding, tied for 10th in offensive caroms (2.76 rpg), 12th in field-goal percentage (44.9%, 149-of-332), 13th in defensive caroms (4.28 rpg), 15th in scoring and 21st in minutes played.
The Lexington, OH native currently sits fifth in UT annals in blocked shots (78), tied for seventh in games played (123) and 20th in scoring (1,041), as well as ranks sixth in rejections (34, 2010-11) in a single season.
