MAC Announces Men's Swimmer Of The Week

The Mid-American Conference announced it's Men's Swimmer of the Week today. The award went to Ohio junior Donald Jupp (Stow, OH/Stow). Jupp recorded first place finishes in the 50 freestyle (21.76), 100 freestyle (48.52), 200 freestyle relay (21.60 split) and took home a second place finish in the 200 medley relay (20.80 split) against defending NCAA DIII national champion Kenyon.

Also Nominated:

Kurtis Leer, Junior, Ball State (Kendallville, Ind./East Noble)
Leer helped guide the Cardinals to a second-place finish at the Indiana Intercollegiate, winning both the 100 (46.36) and the 200 freestyle (1:43.44) events. Leer was also a member of the second place 200 freestyle relay (1:25.69) squad.
