MAC MEN'S SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
Paul Ricard, Junior-Distance, Miami

Ricard (Bowling Green, Ohio-Bowling Green) posted Miami's first win of its 136-97 setback at No. 20 Ohio State, notching a first-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle. In a record-setting performance, Ricard set a new McCorkle Aquatic Center record as he clocked in at 4:32.91, besting the old pool record by nearly 11 seconds. Ricard was last week's MAC Men's Swimmer Of The Week, and has tallied four individual wins this season.

Other Nominees
Donald Jupp, Ohio
Won both the 50- and 100-yard freestyle events in the loss to Kenyon. Jupp captured the 50 freestyle in 21.58, which is the fastest time in the MAC this season. He won the 100 with a time of 48.41, which was best on the Bobcats. Jupp also led Ohio to second place finishes in the 200 freestyle relay and 200 medley relay.

Jason Piercey, Eastern Michigan
Piercey won the 1000-yard freestyle by more than 3 seconds during EMU dual meet win against Wayne State. Piercey's mark of 9:32.10 was 3.3 seconds better then Wayne State's Guillerme Veiga who placed second.
