MAC MEN'S SWIMMER OF THE WEEK

Adams won both distance freestyle races in a win against Niagara on Wednesday, and followed it up with two more first-place tallies and a relay win against MAC foe Ohio. Against Niagara, Adams won the 1,000-yard freestyle in 9:55.63, and later turned in a 4:44.08 clocking to win the 500-yard freestyle, posting a season-best in the latter race. In a setback to the Bobcats, Adams took first-place in the 1,000 free in 9:40.90, and also captured the 200-yard backstroke in 1:55.53, pacing a one-two finish for the Bulls in the event. Adams was also a part of Buffalo's victorious 400-yard freestyle relay against the Bobcats.*

Joyce posted two first-place finishes in EMU's 148-83 win over Ball State, the Eagles' 41st consecutive MAC victory. He won the 50-yard freestyle in 21.17 seconds, and captured the 100 freestyle with a clocking of 46.58.*

Ricard won a pair of events in Miami's dual meet against Wright State, sweeping the distance freestyle events with victories in the 500-yard freestyle (4:42.13) and the 1,000 free (9:30.73). Ricard's time in the 1,000 freestyle was the winning time by more than 16 seconds. *

Jupp swept the sprinting events in a dual meet win over MAC foe Buffalo. He finished first in the 50-yard freestyle in 21.61 seconds, and collected a first-place time of 47.56 in the 100 freestyle. Jupp also swam the fourth leg of the winning 400 medley relay squad, recording a split of 48.82 in the freestyle portion.
