MAC Gymnast of the Week
Cherisse Marier
Western Michgan
Sr.(Windsor, Ont/St. Joseph's Catholic)
Marier tied her career best on bars (9.875), floor (9.850) and in the all-around (39.100) which earned her a first-place finish in all three events. Marier helped the Broncos upset defending Mid-American Conference Champions Kent State for the first time since 2002.

Guyer finished third on vault with a 9.700, second on beam with a 9.700, and first on floor with a 9.725. BGSU had their first 4 girls fall off of beam until Guyer. She would help the Falcons maintain their lead and went last on the floor to seal the win.
Jolene Worley
Eastern Michigan
So. (Orlando, Fla/William R. Boone)
Worley picked up right where she left off following her 2005 MAC
Freshman of the Year campaign by capturing her third-career all-around
title versus Ball State with a 38.325 total. Individually, Worley won
the uneven parallel bars with a 9.675 while tying for the title on the
floor with teammate Rebecca Fuss with a 9.625. She also finished tied
for third on the beam with a score 9.425 and placed fourth on the
vault with a 9.600.
MAC Specialist of the Week
Bethany Kenel
Bowling Green
(Saginaw, Mich/Heritage HS)
Kenel preformed a solid routine and nailed a difficute dismount, to place her first on Beam and a score of 9.825. This ties her personal best on beam.

Ball State
Tarkington led the Cardinals on vault Saturday against Mid-American Conference foe Eastern Michigan. Tarkington won the event with a score of 9.750.
Stefanie James
Eastern Michigan
Fr.(West Windsor, N.J/WWP North)
James competed in her first collegiate meet and finished third on
vault with a score of 9.625 and fifth in on the floor exercise with a
mark of 9.525. James helped the Eagles win the vault en route to posting a 186.375 to 185.775 decision over MAC foe Ball State.
Andrea Perini
Western Michigan
Fr. (Sterling Heights, Mich/Sterling Heights)
Perini earned a personal best on beam and a first-place finish with a high score of 9.750. Perini also had a career best on floor (9.750).
