KSU's Delaney Named Women's Golfer of the Week

The Kent State University women's golf team snagged its second tournament victory of the season with a first-place finish at the Northwestern Invitational. Delaney finished in first-place after tying teammate Kira Meixner on the final day at 7-under 209. Delaney was declared the winner thanks to her closing 71, two shots better than Meixner. The first place finish is the first of Delaney's career as she posted rounds of 68-70-71 and is also was her third top-10 finish of the season. Her opening-round 68 was the low-round of her career.

Harder was Ball State's top performer at the UNC-Wilmington Lady SeaHawk Invitational last week. She tied for eighth with rounds of 73-76-78 (227). Her first-round 73 helped the Cardinals to a seventh place team finish out of 13 teams at the event.
