MAC Gymnast of the Week
Cherisse Marier

Marier earned a high score on vault for a first-place finish with a score of 9.725 on Jan. 8. Marier also took top honors on floor with a score of 9.825 and in the all-around (38.825). Marier helped the Broncos to their first win over UIC in two seasons.

Heather Carroll

Carroll competed in her first collegiate meet and finished first on beam with a top score of 9.725 and second in the all-around with a score of 38.250. Carroll was a red-shirt freshman due to an injury in 2005.

Watson led the way for the Cardinals on Saturday versus Ohio State by winning the floor exercise and finishing second in the all-around competition. Watson scored a 9.575 to take the top prize on the floor and a 37.425 in the all-around.
