MEN'S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Joe Epkey - Ball State
Jr. - Greenwood, Ind./Center Grove HS
Epkey won BSU's lone singles match versus No. 62 ranked UNLV last Friday. He defeated the Rebels' Romain Massaro 7-5, 6-0 at the No. 2 singles position. The singles win is the 10th for Epkey this season. He also teamed with senior Matt Baccarani - the duo is ranked 28th nationally - for an 8-6 win over UNLV's Joel Keilbowicz and David Campbell at the No. 1 doubles position. The duo is a perfect 8-0 at the No. 1 slot this season.

Matt Kennedy - Buffalo
Sr. - Mississauga, Ontario/Erindale
Kennedy paired with Mike Zappone to clinch the doubles point for the Bulls in their 7-0 win over Duquesne on Saturday. Kennedy and Zappone defeated Michael Belmonte and Rob Ojeda, in a 7-3 tiebreaker, to score a 9-8 decision at third doubles. Kennedy then went on to a shutout victory over Adam Townsend in the number four singles match. Kennedy is 11-7 in singles play this season, including a 3-0 mark at fourth singles.
