WOMEN'S PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Andreea Novaceanu - Buffalo

Novaceanu did not allow a game against her as she defeated her Niagara opponents in UB's 7-0 win over the Purple Eagles. She teamed with Tina Jacob to form UB's number two doubles team as they defeated Jacquelyn Cary and Sheila Dargout, 8-0. In singles play, she defeated Cary, 6-0, 6-0, in the number three match. Novaceanu leads the Bulls this season with 16 singles wins and is currently 16-4 (.800) in singles play.

Remy Swain - Miami
Sr. - Louisville, Ky
Swain helped Miami end a two-match losing streak versus Murray State by teaming with fellow senior Maura Trauernicht for an 8-5 win at No. 2 doubles and by pitching a shutout (6-0, 6-0) at No. 6 singles versus the Racers' Tami McQueen. Swain, a senior captain, has won eight of her last nine singles matches.
