MAC Women's Golfer Of The Week
Jenna Walter Sr. Western Michigan

Walter led the Bronco golf team at the fourth annual Rio Verde Collegiate Invitational, finishing tied for 14th in a field of 106 golfers. Walter ended the first day of competition in a three-way tie for the lead after shooting a 3-over-par 74. Walter remained in contention after day two, firing a 79 and finished the tournament strong with a 4-over-par 75. Walter was one of three Broncos to score in the 70's during all three rounds, helping propel WMU to a fifth-place team finish.
Carley Hrusovsky, So., Bowling Green, North Canton, Ohio (Hoover)
For the third consecutive day Carley Hrusovsky led the Falcons, posting a final round score of 80. Combined with her 77-78 the first two days she shot a 235, for a 35th place finish.
Catherine Fortin, So., Eastern Michigan, Beauceville, Canada (Polyvalente St. Francois)
Fortin led the way for the Eagles with a tie for 18th place, carding a two-round total of 230 as the EMU women's golf team finished seventh with a three-round total of 929 (312-310-307) in the final day of the Rio Verde Collegiate Invitational, March 2-4, here at the White Wing Golf Course. Fortin carded rounds of 78, 75 and 77.
Meredith Waterston, Jr., Ohio, Bloomington, Minnesota (Academy of Holy Angels)
Waterston led the Bobcats by placing 15th out of 106 competitors at the Rio Verde Collegiate Invitational over the weekend. The junior from Bloomington, Minn., shot a 229 (80-75-74), which was just three strokes off her personal best for 54 holes. She leads Ohio with a 78.83 average after two spring events so far.
