That Week’s Achievement

Allyson Doyle was named MVP of the T.I.S. Invitational after leading WMU to the tournament championship with three wins and no losses. Doyle opened the tournament by hitting .323 with 12 kills against the host Hoosiers along with nine digs and four blocks. Doyle came back to hit .562 with 10 kills and 11 digs against North Carolina A&T and .385 with 12 kills, 13 digs and four blocks against 2008 NCAA Tournament participant Alabama A&M. With 33 digs on the weekend, Doyle moved into eighth all-time at WMU in career digs with 933.
