Ball State at Toledo to Air Thursday Night

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Thursday will mark the second of the five game regular season matches that will be seen as part of the Mid-American Conference’s regional television package on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel.   
 
In week two of conference play, the Ball State Cardinals will travel to John F. Savage Arena to take on the Toledo Rockets.  First serve is set for 7:00 PM.
 
The Cardinals (14-3, 2-0 MAC) enter their third match following an impressive opening weekend, having not dropped a single set through their first two conference matches and riding an 11-game win streak overall.  Ball State took care of Eastern Michigan, 3-0, last Friday in Ypsilanti, before heading to Mount Pleasant and knocking off Central Michigan, 3-0 as well.
 
Toledo (7-8, 0-2 MAC) returns home this weekend after opening on the road against Central Michigan and Eastern Michigan just as Ball State did.  Toledo dropped both matches last weekend, 3-0 to the Chippewas Friday and 3-1 to the Eagles Saturday.  Toledo is 2-2 this season on their home court.
 
The Ball State at Toledo match will be able to be seen live throughout Ohio courtesy of Time Warner Cable SportsChannel and BCSN2, as well as Western and Central NY.  Comcast Indiana will carry the match live for the Indiana viewing audience.  ESPN3 will also stream the match live (Blackout restrictions may apply.  Bob McElligott and Lyndsay Rowley will be on the call.  See channel information below and check your local listings for complete details.

Live games and extensive non-game programming will air on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel and selected programming will be available nationally on Time Warner Cable Video On Demand, additional cable outlets, as well as ESPN3 – ESPN’s live multi-screen sports network available to more than 85 million households on computers, smartphones, tablets, Xbox and Apple TV via WatchESPN through an affiliated Internet or video provider – and the official Mid-American Conference website www.mac-sports.com.
 
As part of the three-year partnership, Time Warner Cable SportsChannel will televise an expanded number of live conference football games, men’s and women’s basketball games, including both conference basketball tournaments, ancillary programming opportunities and additional neutral site conference championship programming in the sports of volleyball, baseball, softball and men’s and women’s soccer.  
 
MAC programming on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel this academic year will include live regular season football and men’s and women’s basketball games, live men’s and women’s basketball, volleyball, baseball and softball tournament and championship games, preview shows, a signing day special, coaches shows, and other special event programming.  Starting next season, Time Warner Cable SportsChannel will produce weekly magazine, studio and long-form shows around MAC athletics.
